Profile
Matthew Murdock is an expert in the areas of labor economics, finance, and actuarial science. Mr. Murdock has extensive testifying and consulting experience. He has led international teams on large consulting engagements as well as been retained and testified for both plaintiff and defense counsel as an expert regarding economic damages.
Mr. Murdock has conducted wage loss analyses for children and adults, across a variety of occupations and industries, from sole proprietorships to unions. Additionally, Mr. Murdock has extensive experience determining economic damages associated with commercial damage claims across a wide array of industries.
Mr. Murdock is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS), and has considerable experience in the insurance industry including pricing, reserving, underwriting, risk management, and product development.
Mr. Murdock has presented and lectured at universities throughout the country, including The University of Chicago, DePaul University, and Columbia University.
In addition to his consulting work, Mr. Murdock serves as the President of The GEC Group.
