Gregory Green is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Pikeville in Pikeville, Kentucky. Dr. Green’s expertise is broad. His economic expertise includes general microeconomics, macroeconomics, international trade, game theory, and econometrics. Dr. Green has a strong background in mathematics including numerical problem solving and programming.

Dr. Green’s academic research includes a mixture of game theory, mathematical economics, and international trade.  Together these subjects address non-standard trade patterns. Non-standard patterns are intra-industry, as opposed to inter-industry, trade flows between countries.

Dr. Green’s recent research has focused on analyzing business operations and designing and implementing business solutions. This has included evaluating business costs and production information, in addition to creating and implementing pricing strategies and operational software.

Dr. Green has extensive experience serving as an expert witness for both plaintiff and defense and has testified throughout the country in state and federal courts. His work as an expert witness has focused on lost wage and benefit claims and commercial litigation. In addition, he has worked on projects involving economic impact studies, mergers, and anti-trust suits.
